Title: “Opening the pathway towards High-Frequency Green Technologies through emerging 2D and nanoscale materials”.

Abstract: The need to exploit new materials stands alongside with the ever increasing need to have a new concept of devices, being ultra-low voltage, exhibiting low power consumption, ecologically sustainable, and able to realize novel green and reconfigurable on-chip systems. In this framework a novel strategy has been standing out during the last years based on atomically thin 2D materials and few-layer materials, such as, for instance, ferro-electrics. This different concept has been mainly pushed by the need to realize increasingly efficient devices in terms of scalability and on-chip integrability, able to include key functions like harvesting and storage of energy from the environment.
